SOUTH AFRICA/ZIMBABWE – We can find these colorful buildings and streets in Zimbabwe and in South Africa. The tribe of the Ndebele is one of the oldest tribes in South Africa and Zimbabwe, and they are famous for becoming their houses and walls around in an artwork. Their art is a symbol in South Africa, and they use the most natural elements for making their art: feathers, paints   made with lime-based dyes, coal, clay and even animal dung.

ASSILAH (MOROCCO) – This beautiful city is located in the south of Tangier.  In the old part, the walls still protect an urban white clay walls and very colorful mural paintings.

CHEFCHAOUEN – We are still in Morocco. It’s located in the north of the country, and it is preserved as a sacred city. It almost didn’t change its medieval appearance through the years, but what characterizes this city is all about, its intense blue color.

SIDI BOU SAID – A beautiful town in the coast of Tunisia famous for the particularity of the color of its walls, doors and windows. Quiet streets  descend overlooking the Mediterranean as a bay. For decades, the law requires that the facades remain painted with those colors, apparently, a call to good fortune.
